Sacred Sage Small Slide Pendant

Native Americans have long known the healing and purifying properties of sage. Many tribes used it as incense and in special ceremonies, burning it as a spiritual cleanser. It has also been widely used for digestive problems. Of particular interest to me is its use for the reduction of memory loss in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease.

One of my favorite memories as a kid were on Thanksgiving morning, the whole house would smell like sage in the morning when Mom put the turkey in the oven, and the other is the smell of wild sagebrush growing out west on our family vacations to Wyoming and Colorado. 

• Pendant is made of two Fine Silver Sage leaves, one as the focal point, and the other is formed into the slide bail. Measures 1 1/2” long x 1/2” wide.
