Vintage Heart Button Necklace

This slide pendant is made from a mold of a vintage button. It's hard for young people today to believe that buttons used to be so pretty, or the fact that everybody's mom or grandma had a button jar! My Mom's was a Hellman's mayonnaise jar. I still remember sitting on her bed playing with all the buttons as she sat at the sewing machine.
