This large statement piece was inspired by the exquisite picture jasper that is the focal point. Looking just like the mountains of the Arizona desert, I immediately thought of the old America song A Horse With No Name, and so I began to sketch.
It’s a large pendant, hefty but not too heavy, if that makes sense. The front features a hand carved horse against a night sky, atop the amazing desert. The reverse side has a veiny leaf texture and a tiny little reddish orange spessartine garnet just for fun.
Suspended from six strands of buttery soft leather cord and closing with a large, hand forged copper hook and eye clasp, this piece will be your ultimate go-to piece for all your special autumn outfits. The stone features hues of deep slate blue, desert gold, and red ochre. The patina of the fine silver ranges from green to purple to dark gray.
